The lucky survivors

Many of the rescued recovered from their injuries and were successfully released back into the wild.

It took many months for some, but every second spent helping them was worth it - to finally see them released to live free!

Many have joeys now and bring them back to sanctuary for us to see. Occasionally some of those joeys will be sick or injured, so we care for them and give them back to their mums when they're well again.
