The unlucky ones

There were survivors, however so many perished - too many. The fire burnt so hot, that very little remained of the ones that couldnt escape.

It is estimated that over 3 billion native animals died, or were injured in the black summer bushfires. Here are some of the unlucky ones we found in the sanctuary.
